Pancake with Cheese & Oreo

I have never failed to make pancakes, even in my first attempt. They are very easy to make! My 11 year-old cousin once asked me to guide her in making pancakes and it came to a success. Last month, my mother bought a mini pan at Ace Hardware and it's a perfect pan to make pancake. It's nice to know that my future pancakes will have good shape and not irregular shape like the previous pancakes. (tears streaming..)

That's why now I have a little bit confidence to show the pancake here in my blog. Muehehehe.

INGREDIENTS:
  • Flour; 100 g.
  • Full cream milk; 150 ml.
  • An egg.
  • Baking powder; half teaspoon.
  • Salt; in a really small amount.
  • Margarine.
  • Cheese and Oreo. (you can change them into your own favorite topping)
HOW TO:
  1. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white.
  2. Stir the egg white continuously until it becomes foamy.
  3. Mix the flour, milk, egg yolk, baking powder and salt. If you don't want to bother yourself by using mixer, use a big spoon instead; it works.
  4. Pour the foamy egg white into the mixture in step #3 and mix them properly, little by little. If you pour all at once, at some case, the texture will be uneven.
  5. If the dough has been mixed entirely, it is ready to have its 'transformation' to be pancakes!
  6. Don't forget the cheese. You can grate it, but if you cut it cube-shaped, it will be more tasty.
  7. Take 5 pieces of Oreo, remember that we ONLY use the biscuits. Make them into Oreo crumbles. This part is the easiest part, you can let your little sister or brother help.
  8. Here comes the cooking part. Melt the margarine on your pan, make sure the fire is the smallest that your stove could. You don't want your pancakes to be scorched, do you?
  9. Pour some of the dough to the pan, add some of the cheese and the Oreo crumbles on the top of it when it is still 'watery'.
  10. Wait until it is not 'watery' anymore, and then flip it to make sure it is well-done. Move it to your plate.
  11. Do the step #8, #9 and #10 until you run out of dough.
  12. Your pancakes are ready!

Isn't it simple? The picture above is my brother's hands carrying a plate full of pancakes. (He helped me in making the Oreo crumbles and in eating the pancakes..) I cut the cheese cube-shaped and some of them were melted. (Well, my tummy is craving for melted cheese and pizza right now at kosan.. damn it, Nangor! Why don't you have Domino's Pizza outlet?!)

I hope this post is helpful for you, people who stop at this post in their confusion about making pancakes. Muehehe.
See you in next post!
